TREVOR HALL
Have you ever wondered what the love-child of Michael Franti, Willie Nelson, and Ghandi might look like? His name is Trevor Hall.
Trevor was destined for greatness from a young age. He was raised on an island in South Carolina, where his passion for music transformed into his life’s mission. In fact, he was first signed to a label at just fifteen years old, and released his first album at sixteen.
It can be difficult to find a unique standout amongst talented artists when hundreds of genres clog up the search page, yet Trevor Hall has produced a sound so vibrantly different that he does just that. Hailed as the face of Future Folk music, Trevor has discovered the perfect mixture of down to earth indie folk that leaves a wake of rock and roll in its path. It’s no wonder that Trevor is known for giving festival-goers the show of a lifetime, especially after honing his art at more than two hundred live shows each year for a majority of his career.
The passion behind his distinctive style comes from an awe of Eastern Mysticism. Trevor was introduced to the practices of yoga and meditation at a young age when he left his home island to attend Idyllwild Arts Academy in California. These practices greatly influenced both his artistic style and his loving connection towards his growing fan base.
The spiritual connection Trevor Hall has imbued in his music, fan base, and peers has produced one of the most welcoming and heartwarming communities to ever bless the musical world. Even today, Trevor’s love towards all things human can be felt through every word he sings on stage, as well as every effort he spends off-stage. His newest single, 2 Oceans, ties both of his passions together by campaigning for mental health awareness in one of his most melodic songs to date. A great example of his off-stage humanitarian efforts is his Where the Rivers Meet Foundation.
Where the Rivers Meet Foundation was founded in 2020 by Trevor and his wife Emory. According to them, they began the foundation to support their humanitarian efforts in India and Nepal, two places close to their hearts after spending decades on tour traveling through them.
Trevor Hall loves to play live for his fans and travel the globe. Aside from selling out the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado as a headliner, he has also sold out international tours alongside the likes of Ziggy Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Franti, John Butler Trio, Matisyahu, Brett Dennen, and more.
Hall’s most recent album, IN AND THROUGH THE BODY, was released in September of 2020 independently and compounds all of his experiences into his most mature sound yet. The album deals with timeless human themes – love, struggle, growth, and redemption.
