Announces Free Public Programming
San Diego, CA – April 4, 2024 – Summer starts here! The countdown is on as the Wonderfront Music & Arts Festival gears up to launch your ultimate summer festival experience next month! Taking place from May 10th to 12th, 2024, Wonderfront promises to electrify the iconic waterfront of America’s Finest City with an eclectic lineup of over 80 bands from various musical genres across 8+ stages.
Located at Embarcadero Park North, Seaport Village, and Ruocco Park, Wonderfront’s festival grounds will showcase the best downtown San Diego has to offer. In partnership with The Port of San Diego, Wonderfront proudly reintroduces “Everyone Deserves Music” for the 2024 festival, emphasizing free public programming with free live music and entertainment at Seaport Village and Ruocco Park throughout the event.
A highlight of this year’s festival is the inclusion of two free community stages in Seaport Village featuring emerging musical talent, open to both festival ticket holders and the general public. Additionally, Ruocco Park will host a range of free activities open to the public from Friday to Sunday, 12pm to 10pm, including a special Sports, Health & Wellness zone featuring the San Diego FC professional soccer club’s Chrome Ball Tour with soccer activations, a game zone with Big Ball Volleyball, Cornhole, Ping Pong, Spiderpong, and other daily activities such as Yoga Sessions, Cold Plunge & Sauna Stations, a Wonderfront Pop-Up Bar (21 & over), Food Trucks, and more fun for everyone.
