Getting between stages is a fun and easy part of the Wonderfront experience! You’ll have the option to take water taxis, party boats, Old Town Trolley shuttles, WonderFREDs, and scooters. Read all about it here and check out our transit map for detailed routes and more information.

Wonderfront Festival boasts one of the most exclusive and rewarding VIP experiences you’ve ever seen.
As the weekend of November 22nd quickly approaches, the only thing that might look even better than the Wonderfront Festival music lineup is its VIP experience. At face value it may look like any other VIP festival ticket with the usual amenities of fast tracking the lines, elevated viewing decks, hospitality lounges, free food and drink, bla, bla, bla. All the usual stuff, right? Well, yes, we have all of that and also so much more.
While the Wonderfront Festival VIP experience will include all the VIP mainstays listed above, it also tacks on a remarkable amount of exclusive VIP lounges throughout the grounds and on the bay including a VIP lounge on the California Spirit yacht. This limo boat will allow you to move seamlessly between stages in style. Then there’s the waterfront VIP experience that puts every other VIP dining area to shame. That’s right, the usual “free food” isn’t some hot dog on a stick or fun-sized sandwich bites. It’s the full San Diego waterfront dining experience, complete with jaw-dropping views from the Harbor House.
It’s not just the views that are GOAT. The food will be provided by local favorites, including acai bowls from Sambazon, pizza from Napizza, specialty dishes from the Malarkey Group, barbecue from Cali BBQ, tacos from Gringas Tacos, and even sushi prepared by the fantastic chefs from Lionfish.
Alongside the mouth-watering food selections will be a few different beers on rotation. Feel free to wash down those California street tacos with some Stella Artois, Michelob Ultra, Estrella Jalisco, or Sierra Nevada. If you’re really digging the music (spoiler alert, you will be), you could grab the cocktail of the hour at the nearest VIP lounge.
The four main VIP locations throughout the festival will be:
Embarcadero North VIP Lounge
Seaport Village VIP Lounge
Hilton Bayfront Park VIP Lounge
Flagship Spirit VIP Lounge (located on the second floor of the California Spirit Yacht)
All of these locations will have water, food, beer, and signature cocktails of the hour available to VIP members for free, with a variety of other drinks available for purchase.
So what’s the catch? Surely there are different levels of VIP access and the yacht lounge cost the most, right? Nope. There is no tier system to the Wonderfront VIP experience. All VIP members will be treated as a Very Important Person. However, you do have to act fast if you want this exclusive VIP experience… there is a very limited amount of spots and they are filling fast. Save your seat now before the red carpet list fills up.
We’re rounding the bend and pulling into festival week so read below for all you need to know about getting to Wonderfront Festival.

Wonderfront Music and Arts Festival is truly a music lovers festival, for San Diego, put on by San Diegans. With endless opportunities and experiences, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy, regardless of age or music taste. We are looking forward to seeing you at the festival!
There is something undeniably epic about a live guitar riff by an iconic rocker so Wonderfront fans better buckle up for our Sunday night finale as Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Nancy Wilson (Heart), Steve Lukather (Toto), and Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke) take the stage for a once-in-a-lifetime all-star band performance, “Guitar Legends 3.” Not only will those 4 all-stars tear it up on our Uncle Ed’s D*mn Good rock stage, but they’ll also be joined by some surprise guests and backed by Kenny Aronoff and the LA All-Star Band.
The legendary artists will play in different configurations, performing each of their hit songs and much more. This 90-minute rock ‘n’ roll concert will be televised nationally as a fundraiser to benefit veterans through the important organization, “America Salutes You.” With San Diego being such a patriotic military town, we can’t think of a better way to close out the inaugural year of Wonderfront Festival.
